Techniques

Diversified Adjustments:

Doctors of Chiropractic provide safe and controlled manipulation to the joints that reduce inflammation and pain. This includes hands-on diversified adjusting and instrument adjusting to fit the patients’ needs.

Activator Methods:

The Activator is a very safe and low force adjusting tool that helps the spinal joints to align properly. The different settings on the this unique adjusting instrument allows the doctor to target different areas of the body. This adjusting technique is perfect for patients who wants very minimal force when being adjusted. It is also great for children as the technique is low-force.
Applied Kinesiology: Applied Kinesiology is a holistic health care system that utilizes the triad of health (physical, chemical, and emotional) when treating patients. It uses muscle testing as a primary feedback mechanism to examine how a person’s body is functioning. AK is a unique therapy that utilizes joint manipulation, myofascial therapy, cranial therapy, acupuncture meridian points, nutrition, exercise, and other reflexes that help the body to heal and achieve its potential.

Flexion Distraction Technique:

Our clinic is well equipped with flexion distraction tables. Flexion distraction can improve metabolite transport, reduce stress on facet joints and posterior annulus fibrosis. This technique is ideal for patients with low back pain and disc herniations as the disc spaces open up giving relief. Whether it is acute, subacute, chronic, recurrent or local pain, flexion of the spine can help reduce the stress on the nerves.

Sacro-Occipital Technique:

Sacro-occipital technique also known as SOT, is a technique that focuses on the relationship between the sacral bone (tail bone)  and the occipital bone (back of the head).  In our clinic, we may use pelvic blocking to correct any leg length deficiencies or even the SOT board to perform the adjustment.
